ORDERING & COMMISSIONING

My work is done to a standard A3 ( 29.7cm x 42cm, 11.7” x 16.6”) on heavy weight, acid free cartridge paper (220gms) or card (300gms).

I use black inks and coloured studio pencils.

I currently charge £167.00 (€250 or the equivalent in US$) for an A3 sized piece.

As my work is produced from photographs you will need to send me one or more images of your subject.  The general rule is this; the larger and clearer the image of your subject, the better the caricature will be.  Please don’t waste your time and mine presenting me with a face the size of a thumbnail.  Studio photographic portraits are best; graduations, weddings, special occasions, etc. All photographs will be returned safely to you with the portrait in the original condition you sent them.

You can help to make your portrait even better by providing a brief pen picture of your subject; perhaps he likes a specific beer or plays golf?  Perhaps she enjoys tennis or mountaineering?  Is there a particular episode for which they are famous that you would like me to allude to?

Due to a very high demand for my work, you should allow at least six to eight weeks from when I receive your photograph(s) for the portrait to arrive with you.  Christmas is the busiest time for me so please have your orders for 25^th December with me no later than 1^st September! Late orders can always be considered but the price (quoted upon application) will increase substantially … depending on how late!

I am also open to regular work from printed media, subject to contract and going rates.

Reproduction Old Maps

Simply provide a photocopy, photograph or scan of the old map you would like reproduced.  I can do these in any size you wish, up to A1 size (118.8cm x 168cm). Price quoted upon application.  Please allow six to eight weeks for delivery.

• Please note that due to time constraints I cannot research and obtain any maps for you. 
• Please also ensure that anything you send is not bound by the copyright laws of your country (these usually apply for a hundred years).

Other illustration work

Prices quoted upon application.  I prefer to work in black inks and/or studio coloured pencil.  Write or e-mail giving your basic requirements (subject, size, deadline etc) and I will quote you a price.  Again, due to demand, please allow six to eight weeks for completion.  I can do it quicker but the price will rise correspondingly.
